If You Haven't Seen This One, See It Now

We ran the story two months ago now. It's been out there on the site, stubbornly lingering. And if you haven't read it yet, you might want to.

In case you were wondering, we here at Business Intelligence Pipeline have our own small BI efforts underway on an ongoing basis, in the form of Web analytics. And our most popular story in December -- by a long shot -- is our in-depth, head-to-head comparison of six BI suites.

Now, let me be the first to admit that six suites do not a whole BI universe make. There are plenty of others out there that this review doesn't consider. Here's why: Some BI vendors have a policy against letting their products be reviewed by technology publications. So they're absent.

But these six, at least, have the guts to stand behind what they make and sell: Actuate, Applix, Cognos, Information Builders, Microsoft and MicroStrategy.

Want to know who won? You'll have to check out the story itself.
