Model N Model N just released its end-to-end revenue execution application suite. With this new package, the software vendor for the medical device, transportation, and consumer goods industries is focused on serving the enterprise's high-tech ability to control and manage revenues. The suite includes applications such as Pricing Strategy, Contract Management, Pricing Management, Compliance, and Settlement. Users can automate how the enterprise complies with government pricing terms or settlement processes (for example, rebates). "Compliance" indeed — both for customer contracts and government regulations — is Model N's central theme with this release.
Attunity Connect 4.0 and Attunity Connect Studio These applications manage metadata and runtimes, and the software lets users toggle between different platforms and legacy systems while their interface design remains relatively uniform. Both have an XML-based metadata repository, Metadata Editing console, and Runtime Management console.
Eye of the Storm 3.0 Eye of the Storm is a network management solution that uses three-dimensional maps to investigate enterprise infrastructure and automate operations. The software can export information to Visio, create personalized dashboards, and provide end-to-end visibility into the network.
Healthcare Analytic Server The Healthcare Analytic Server offers medical information in formats relevant to users such as researchers, care providers, or healthcare administrators. The server uses an automated extract and transform process on the data, but also protects patient privacy with the 3DES encryption standard.
Hummingbird Enterprise for ESRI A mapping program for ESRI ArcIMS software links geospatial information to a variety of documents, such as photographs, CAD drawings, field notes, video, spreadsheets, and word processing documents. Hummingbird uses a Web interface for easy accessibility.
IBM Rational Rapid Developer This tool helps software developers build and manage Java 2 Enterprise Edition business applications that are easily integrated with existing software and systems. Using a visual modeling environment, programmers focus on the underlying architecture of their handiwork.
Matrix10 Matrix 10 is a product life cycle management (PLM) platform that improves products' time-to-market and decreases communication barriers among workgroups. New PLM application and components include MatrixOne Team Central for workflow and workspace issues, MatrixOne Document Central for security models and library navigation, and MatrixOne Program Central to manage projects or Six Sigma programs.
Net Express 4.0 Existing COBOL applications can be extended to Unix and Windows using Net Express 4.0. The system translates COBOL code directly into COBOL Web services and platform-independent applications (for Web access). Additionally, Micro Focus is marketing its Enterprise Server, a deployment option for Net Express.
Protege Purveyor of environmental law compliance solutions, Pavilion now offers a real-time, remote or local, event notification system. In Windows-style, applications and process control systems are organized into tree formations. Production facility managers can monitor their sector's environmental compliance around the clock.
SuppliLink 2.0 You can instantly initiate restocking while managing inventory levels in real time. SuppliLink 2.0 adds enhanced graphics as well as the ability to alert personnel by email at the part, bin, or supplier level.
