Dashboard views, a multitude of chart and graph options, timelines with slider bars, visually enhanced tables, scrollbars, and other intuitive interface designs significantly reduce the software's training time. Company officials aver that complete installation time, including training, averages one business week. QlikView information retrieval relies on its patented Associative Query Logic (AQL) architecture. AQL eliminates the need for online analytic processing (OLAP) cubes and often circumvents the need for a data warehouse, particularly in small- to medium-sized businesses. A data cloud, as opposed to OLAP cubes, eliminates redundancy, hierarchies, and aggregation while letting the user still drill down into information.
Actuate 7 Actuate 7 is an information application platform for business managers and executives who have a strong background in Microsoft Excel. The suite's e.Spreadsheet Designer lets you create reports and save them as working Excel spreadsheet documents that can be published through a Web interface.

Business Performance Management Suite version 3 Four packaged applications — Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Performance Scorecard, and Hyperion Business Modeling — make up the latest business performance management suite. QualiWare Lifecycle Manager 3.1 This suite of software life cycle management utilities now lets you edit and deeply customize diagrams. One distinguishing capability is that it can accommodate on-the-fly project tailoring without going back to the development team.
SAS 9.1 Unveiled at the SAS Users Group International conference, SAS 9.1 is the company's newest suite release of business intelligence client tools. It contains the SAS Web Report Studio, SAS Report Studio, and SAS Office Integration under the SAS Business Intelligence Server umbrella. Targeted user interfaces promote a wider range of users. A phased release will begin August 31.
