iSITE Enterprise This latest version of geoVue's base solution includes a newly customizable framework, customer branding, and demographic data processing up to 10 times faster than in previous versions. A standard feature now of iSITE Enterprise is the QuickCount aggregation engine, which uses census block centroids to increase the accuracy of demographic profiles. Other new features include: expanded site and trade area management, enhanced data, customer-based trade area generator, integrated aerial and satellite photography, and modifications to improve ease of use. The basic package starts at $1,995; custom solutions (including professional services, training, and custom configuration) start at about $25,000.
Nimble Integration Suite 2.0 Nimble Integration Suite is a patent-pending information integration platform that provides both ODBC and Xquery access. It allows integration and access of multiple data sources inside and outside the firewall, for real-time data integration and information sharing. Nimble's query processing engine uses XML internally to address both relational data and nonrelational data such as semistructured data, hierarchical systems, XML data, and flat files. The cache lets you balance your real-time needs against optimization of response time or operational systems needs. New features in 2.0 include better matching techniques and enhanced concordance database management capabilities; access to LDAP data, and compatibility with front-end reporting tools. Price is $30,000 per server for Windows, $45,000 per server for Solaris. Sagent Enterprise Information Integration A packaged bundle of tools, Sagent Enterprise Information Integration (EII) helps you access, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple sources, including data warehouses, data marts, external data streams, the Internet, and legacy applications. EII promises to do this at significantly lower cost than enterprise application integration (EAI) and in real time. This provides business users with the ability to get self-serve access to custom analytic reports. EII uses virtual columns a way of analyzing integrated data in memory rather than in a data warehouse or mart. Supports a proprietary reporting format as well as those of Microsoft Excel and Crystal Decisions. Supports Windows and Solaris platforms. Price starts at $35,000. Sypherlink: Harvester This patent-pending technology enables multiple data sources to appear as a single virtual database by focusing on the mapping process. Harvester applies heuristics to reduce the resources and domain expertise that would otherwise be required to determine how data relates between databases. It also automates manual tasks. The virtually centralized database is ODBC compliant. You can compile the "maps" Harvester creates so that you can use your existing electronic data interchange and EAI tools for your translation, transformation, and communication requirements. Price starts at $50,000 and is "value based."
Vignette V6 The Vignette content management application rolled out V6 with enhancements to its analysis and reporting capabilities. It can now generate detailed reports on content activity, organized by provider, channel, site, and content type. It provides data in addition to typical clickstream analysis to show user activity at the site, page, and content levels, including content affinities and marketing campaign comparisons. Vignette supports Java, XML, and Simple Object Access Protocol and enables the deployment of dynamic Web applications using content from virtually any data source. It helps you manage the whole content life cycle including collection, production, delivery, and analysis. Price starts at $200,000 and varies widely depending on requirements.
