BroadVision Inc. has announced the introduction of BroadVision InfoExchange Portal 6.0 along with a new corporate initiative designed to drive the adoption of enterprise portals as the strategic platform for personalized self-service and collaborative e-business.

InfoExchange Portal 6.0 is designed for integration with other e-business applications and extensibility through open standards. Features within BroadVision InfoExchange Portal 6.0 include context-based and navigational personalization capabilities, collaboration and process management capabilities, and the ability to incorporate access and delivery devices such as mobile devices.

BroadVision InfoExchange Portal 6.0 will be available on the HP-UX operating system and Sun Solaris Operating Environment at the end of June 2001, with versions for other platforms available in the third and fourth quarters of 2001.

Dirig Software has launched its newest management product for application server component management, called Fenway. Fenway is able to proactively manage an e-business infrastructure from the front-end Web server through the application server and its components to the back-end database.
